Naboisho Camp

Features & Highlights

Naboisho Camp Summary

Naboisho Camp is well off the beaten track but still offers the opportunity to safari in the Masai Mara. Naboisho also offers a good cultural experience as well as a more exclusive safari experience as the private concession prevents the masses of vehicles that you can get in the Mara.

Naboisho Camp is situated in the Naboisho Conservancy (a 50,000 acre area) that lies to the far east of the Mara/Serengeti Eco system. This exclusive eight tented camp set on a private conservancy is a shining example of conservation and communities working together. This 50 000-acre wilderness corridor – a project spearheaded by Asilia Africa – could be the future of conservation in Africa; partnering local landlords with tourism companies to conserve a vast tract of pristine Kenyan wilderness. By working with the 500 individual landowners that make up the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, they are able to ensure the benefits of eco-tourism – and your visit – trickle down to the Maasai families that have lived on these lands for generations.
