Faru Faru Lodge Summary
Faru Faru Lodge is located in the private Grumeti Reserve along with its ultra luxurious sister camps Sabora and Sasakwa. The private Grumeti Reserve is a massive wildlife haven over 350,000 acres and it is located in the Western Corridor, Serengeti. The lodge is built on a gentle slope overlooking a waterhole and the Grumeti River as well as the open plains beyond. The main areas are crafted majestically from local stone and the 9 exquisite luxury tented suites are all decorated to a very high spec and contain everything one could hope for, these rooms really are that great! The beautifully decorated suites have canvas walls except at the front which are glassed walls, allowing one to stare out over the Grumeti River and distant plains.

ACTIVITIES & WILDLIFE
The game viewing at Faru Faru is exceptional all year round with excellent resident prides of Lion. Cape buffalo, giraffe, elephant, zebra, gazelle, impala and topi are also drawn to this region as the Grumeti River is a life sustaining source of water for these animals. The game viewing is at its peak from June to August when the great migration passes through this region. Faru Faru has some of the best guides in Tanzania and offers morning game drives in open 4WD land cruises, as well as night drives.
