Safari in Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is located just 2 hours drive from Arusha in the North of Tanzania. A safari to Tarangire National Park combines wonderfully well with a safari to the more famous Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The landscape in this park is very different from the other 2 regions and from June to October the wildlife viewing is excellent. Large herds of Elephant enter the park in June from the surrounding areas and this adds to the already plentiful wildlife in the park at this time.

Tarangire has some outstanding safari lodges, like the treehouses at Tarangire Treetops Lodge.
What our clients say..
“Tarangire was really special. Accommodation absolutely wonderful and excellent game drives. The park was something else. Very nice and uncrowded. Lots of wildlife.”

Tarangire National Park is great for seeing Elephant.
Tarangire is also a beautiful park with ever-changing scenery including massive Baobab trees. There are also some really lovely safari camps in the park and the walking safaris in the south of Tarangire are a real highlight of any safari to Tarangire National Park.
